We're On A Mission To Reduce Waste

Your average arborist generates around 5,000 yards of wood chips every year. We're on a mission to provide those wood chips to homeowners like you.

Hey There! I'm Tyler

I’m a lifelong Massachusettsan, current homeowner, and avid gardener in Natick.

I used to buy bagged mulch from Home Depot, but not anymore. A few years ago, I had several trees taken down on my property and cut a deal with the arborist to lower our bill if we kept the chips. All told, it was around 20 yards! Enough to re-mulch my existing garden beds, add a new one, and share a few wheelbarrow-fulls with the neighbors.

But I wasn’t prepared for how much better these wood chips would be than the bagged mulch I used to buy.

The following year, I wanted another load of chips (and my neighbors did too), and that’s when the idea for Woodchuck was born. I’m on a mission to reduce waste and create healthier gardens, one home at a time. By connecting home owners like you with arborists, we’re reducing the amount of wood chips going to waste in landfills, saving arborists time and money, and improving the health of your garden, soil, and plants!
